Creature bust realtime

Finally got to the handpainting part. Still a WIP

I wanted to try maximising the UV space as much as possible to see how far I could go, although it did come with some UV distortion in Maya (Substance has no problem with this for some reason). Was fun playing around with!

Still got the axe to handpaint.

Making a bust of this creaturehead on the ground with the axe cracking his skull open (Haven't gotten to the posing part yet though).
I've been trying to capture a Warcraft/Darksiders feel on the creature head, and keeping it symmetrized to make a lowpoly model.

Studying a lot of Michael Vicente's sculpting style when it comes to hardsurface and that stylized material feel on the axe.

I'm really enjoying this style!
